Try one of these workouts. Each workout has suggested equipment and easy-to-use instructions for completing an exercise or two, or an entire workout. If you are not regularly active, it is recommended to consult with a physician before starting physical activity.

Strength

Muscle-strengthening activity can be done using body weight for resistance, elastic bands, dumbbells, or weights. It is important to work all the major muscle groups of the body such as the legs, hips, back, abdomen, chest, shoulders, and arms.

Balance

Balance is used in daily functions such as walking and going up and down stairs. Practicing and maintaining good balance can make these daily functions easier and prevent falls, especially as people age.

Pregnancy

Prenatal workouts can be beneficial to both mom and baby. It is recommended to discuss exercise with your doctor prior to starting an exercise routine during pregnancy. Significant changes occur in a woman's body during pregnancy, so it is important to understand how exercise may need to be modified to accommodate those changes.
