November
Native American Heritage Month, observed every November in the United States, celebrates the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories of American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN).
The Indigenous Food Wellness Circle uses the Indigenous medicine wheel as a model to focus on the four directions for healthy eating, which are nutrition education, food safety and preservation, cooking demos, and food preservation.
