When we think of taking a walk, we may think of an easy stroll or setting a faster pace and trying to get extra physical health benefits. Many people might also think of walking for distance. This means walking a marathon or trekking long trails over several days. People walk for a variety of reasons. Some people walk for charity, while others want to test their own endurance. Although it may sound as simple as just putting one foot in front of the other, it takes some training to be able to walk for several miles in one or two days.
