Here's a quick and tasty way to use up those odds and ends of harder cheeses languishing in your refrigerator:
- Shred cheese with a grater or in a food processor.
- Mix in your choice of ingredients, cut or chopped into small pieces, such as:
- olives
- pickles
- pimientos
- chives
- walnuts
- red or green peppers
- Add enough lowfat mayonnaise to bind ingredients together. Spread on your favorite bread. ENJOY!
